Progress.

As I'm starting week four of half marathon training, it's interesting to observe how much progress has been made, even though it's been glacial.  When I started, the Tuesday midweek run was only 4-5 miles, and the long run was 6.

This past weekend, my long run was eight miles and today I followed it up with a midweek seven.

It's neat to compare the splits from today (left) and June 28th (right.)   Very similar overall -- the run on the 28th felt much harder (and had one extra hill.)
